Dr. Padilla Bio
Dr. William Padilla, founder of Padilla Family Medicine in Chula Vista, California, was born in Monterey, Mexico, and raised in Houston, Texas. Influenced by his parents, both physicians, he pursued a career in medicine to build strong connections with patients and help them through challenging times.
Dr. Padilla completed his medical education in Monterey, Mexico, and his Family Practice residency at the University of Massachusetts. Drawn to Southern California for its lifestyle and surfing, he moved to San Diego and practiced at Chula Vista Family Medical Clinic for 15 years before opening his own practice 24 years ago.
At Padilla Family Medicine, Dr. Padilla focuses on personalized, preventive care, partnering with patients to optimize their health. Outside of medicine, he enjoys surfing, hiking, running, and woodworking. He advocates for a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of fitness and a balanced diet at any age.
