Get to Know Dr. Igor Gavrilyuk!
Igor Gavrilyuk, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician providing primary medical care at San Diego Medical Group.
Dr. Gavrilyuk earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Petersburg State Medical Academy in Russia in 1979. He initially practiced emergency medicine and acute coronary care in Zhitomir, Ukraine, before immigrating to the United States in 1999. After relocating, Dr. Gavrilyuk completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center and became board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Gavrilyuk has been with San Diego Medical Group since 2008, where he specializes in preventive care and the treatment of both acute and chronic diseases for adults. He has a particular interest in the management of congestive heart failure in geriatric patients, focusing on improving their quality of life.
